Dance Off Liverpool

Movema partnered with The City of Liverpool College to run a project called Dance Off in 2014, supported by Sportivate, Sport England.

Students from 16+ who attend the college and have little or no dance experience were invited to join FREE workshops in 3 different styles; Bollywood, Street/ Commercial and Break dance over a 8 week period. Leading to a showcase opportunity at the City of Liverpool College Open Evening in March.

The Dance Off project was funded through Sportivate, Sport England.  Sportivate is a £56million Lottery funded, London 2012 legacy project that gives young people the chance to discover a sport they love.  Together with Movema, ‘Movema represents the vibrancy and diversity of British culture, providing a gateway to new experiences and opportunities for people of all backgrounds’, this project hopes to engage, educate and entertain young people!

We look forward to dancing with you!
